Ridge gourd Dosa



Ingredients:


  • Moong dal - 1/2 cup

  • Rice flour - 1/4 cup

  • Ridge gourd skin - 2 cups

  • Ridge gourd pieces - 1 cup

  • Green chillies - 3

  • Ginger - small

  • Onion - 1

  • Jeera - 1 tbsp

  • Salt

  • Oil

Method:


  • Wash and soak moong dal for 2 hours

  • Grind moong dal, Ridge gourd skin, Ridge gourd pieces, Salt, Ginger, Chillies and Rice flour into smooth batter.

  • Slice onions into small pieces

  • Place Dosa pan on a stove at medium heat

  • Pour a laddle full of batter and quickly spread it around in circular motion till you get slightly thick Dosa.

  • Sprinkle cut onion and jeera on Dosa and pour some oil around it. Flip it after bubbling spots appear.

  • Serve hot with ginger chutney
