Ingredients:
- Maida - 1/2 cup
- Rice flour - 1/4 cup
- Onion -1 medium
- Curd - 1/4 cup
- Saggubiyyam - 2tbsp
- Jeera - 1tsp
- Red chilli powder
- curry leaves
- Salt
- Water if required
- Oil for frying
Method:
- Soak saggubiyyam in curd for about 2 hours
- Mix maida, rice flour, red chilli powder, jeera, salt
- Add chopped onions, soaked saggubiyyam, curry leaves and make a semi solid batter by adding water if required
- Heat the oil and once oil is hot drop small amounts of the mixed batter into the oil for deep frying.
- Once the pakodas turn dark yellow or orange colour strain them from oil onto a plate with tissue paper to drain all the excess oil
- Serve hot
