Jowar Muruku


Ingredients:
  • Jowar flour - 1 cup
  • Rice flour - 1/2 cup
  • Besan - 1/2 cup
  • Sesame seeds - 1tsp
  • Ajwin - 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder - 2tsp
  • Ghee - 1 tbsp
  • Oil for deep fry
  • Salt to taste
Method:

  • Mix jowar flour, rice flour, besan, sesame seeds, ajwin, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and salt
  • Add melted ghee add water little by little and make a soft dough
  • Fix the muruku press and put small portion of the dought into it, Press the dough into hot oil and fry them till golden brown
  • Strain muruku and shift them into an dry container. Repeat the process with remaining dough
  • Store Jowar muruku in a air tight container
