Ingredients:
- Rice flour - 1/2 cup
- Gram flour - 1/2 cup
- Corn poha - 1cup
- Thick poha - 3/4 cup
- Peanuts - 1/4 cup
- Jeera - 1tsp
- Ghee - 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder
- Curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Method:
- Preparation of Murukku
- Mix rice flour, gram flour, jeera, red chilli powder, ghee and salt to make a dough by adding enough water
- Batter should be like soft chapathi dough
- Take little of the dough and fill into the murukku mould
- Heat oil and press the muruku into hot oil and deep fry both sides until crisp
- Remove as soon as it is crisp and drain the excess oil on a paper towel
- Deep fry Thick poha, Corn poha, peanuts seperately in oil, drain and keep it aside.
- Fry curry leaves
- Crush corn poha and curry leaves little bit
- Mix muruku, thick poha, corn poha, peanuts and curry leaves
- Add chilli powder and salt when mixture is warm
- Store in an air tight container and you can use it for a month
