Ingredients:
- Bombay Ravaa (Suji) - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Milk - 1 cup
- Water - 1 1/2 cup
- Ghee - 2 tbsp
- Elachi powder - 1/2 tsp
- Cashews - 30
- Raisins - 30
- Kesari colour - pinch
- Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan and add cashews, raisins and fry seperately till they are brown and keep aside
- In the same pan add ravva and fry till the aroma comes out and keep aside
- In a heavy non stick pan, boil water and milk. Add food colour to it.
- Add ravva and keep stirring continuously. There should not be any lumps. Stir well till it is cooked thoroughly
- Add sugar and elachi powder now and keep stirring until the kesari leaves the sides of the pan
- Grease a plate with ghee and spread kesari on the plate. Sprinkle fried cashew and raisins evenly. Let kesari cool down to cut into pieces.
