Ingredients:
- Black eye peas -1/2 cup
- Chopped onion - 1/4 cup
- Chopped tomato - 1/2 cup
- Grated carrot - 1/4 cup
- Chopped cucumber - 1/2 cup
- Lemon juice - 2tsp
- Green chilli - 2 small
- Coriander leaves
- Salt
Method:
- Wash and soak peas for about 6 hours
- After draining water, keep on low flame with little amout of water and salt. Cover with lid
- When peas are cooked, remove from heat, drain and cool
- Add chopped Onion, Tomoto, Cucumber, Green Chill, grated Carrot, Coriander leaves and salt to cooked Peas and mix well
