Black Eye Peas Guggillu




Ingredients:
  • Black eye peas -1/2 cup

  • Chopped onion - 1/4 cup

  • Chopped tomato - 1/2 cup

  • Grated carrot - 1/4 cup

  • Chopped cucumber - 1/2 cup

  • Lemon juice - 2tsp

  • Green chilli - 2 small

  • Coriander leaves

  • Salt
Method:
  • Wash and soak peas for about 6 hours

  • After draining water, keep on low flame with little amout of water and salt. Cover with lid

  • When peas are cooked, remove from heat, drain and cool

  • Add chopped Onion, Tomoto, Cucumber, Green Chill, grated Carrot, Coriander leaves and salt to cooked Peas and mix well
